- Julie and Robin Ashmore have been living and working in Grindleford for 12 years serving the community with our picture framing service and providing a venue for talanted local artists to sell their work. We have a reputation for fine art landscape paintings in a variety of media with all the work being framed to our high gallery standards. We usually have four exhibitions a year from our top selling artists including a Christmas exhibition of paintings from Russia. These are still life paintings in watercolour and pastels by graduates from the Accademy of Fine Arts in St Petersburg. We welcome everyone to our gallery in the beautiful Derwent Valley and have parking outside with cafe, pub and park for children all nearby. See you soon.
